This year’s UK round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship will include a new feature, the Inside the Grid Experience. Access will be included free of charge to all ticket holders on Saturday evening, and will include bike displays and insightful chats with leading industry figures.
The Inside the Grid Experience will take place from 5pm and will last for 30 minutes. A number of Yamaha race bikes will be placed onto the grid, including two R1 World Superbike machines, allowing fans a close up view of some of the actual bikes that will be raced during the circuit’s biggest international event of the year.
Further Yamaha bikes from the support classes are also expected to appear. Yamaha WorldSBK Team Principal Paul Denning will also be present on the grid with host Dave Neal, to discuss the technical features of each bike on display as well as giving further insight into the World Superbike Championship itself.
Access to the grid will be provided via two points. Spectators arriving from the paddock will be guided to the grid via the gate between the medical centre grandstand and the start of the pit lane building, and those arriving from the infield can access the experience from a gate at the Roberts Chicane.
Tickets for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship are available at advance rates until 4pm on Wednesday 8 July, after which they’ll be available upon arrival at the circuit. For more information and to book, click here.
