MotoGP race-winner Brad Binder has announced that he will team up with the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team in 2027, partnering Miguel Oliveria. The South African rider will join the recently announced Jack Miller as another ex-Grand Prix star who will get to race at Donington Park for the first time next season.

Having stepped up to MotoGP in 2020, Binder claimed two victories and a further nine podium finishes, including his first win in only his third ever MotoGP start at the Czech Grand Prix. Now, for 2027, the 31-year-old takes on a new challenge as he switches from KTM to BMW machinery, alongside former teammate Oliveira.

A move to WorldSBK will also mean that Binder will get to compete around the iconic Donington Park circuit for the first time in 2027, and he will also be able to utilise his experience with the Michelin tyre, as WorldSBK switches to the French tyre manufacturer from next season onwards.

Details on tickets for the 2027 FIM Superbike World Championship round at Donington Park will be released later this year.
